About the Role

We are seeking a GenAI Product Manager to help define, build, and scale our AI-native platform for the electric utility industry. This role sits within the Product organization and is designed for someone who can combine strong product management fundamentals with practical experience in Generative AI, agent-based workflows, enterprise software, and customer-facing product development. You will work cross-functionally across Product, Engineering, and Sales teams to translate high-value utility workflows into production-grade GenAI capabilities, including specialized AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation workflows, and enterprise-ready user experiences. This is a highly customer-facing role that combines product strategy, technical fluency, and solutioning, and execution to help utilities move from pilots to scalable adoption.

What You'll Do

  • Own product strategy, roadmap, and requirements for ThinkLabs' Generative AI products, agent-based workflows, and AI-native utility solutions
  • Identify and prioritize high-value utility use cases across transmission planning, distribution planning and operations
  • Partner with Product, Engineering and Sales teams to translate customer workflows, and pain points into product capabilities and roadmap inputs
  • Support pre-sales engagements by participating in discovery sessions, customer workshops, solution scoping, product demos, and pilot-to-production planning
  • Define product requirements, user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications for LLM-powered applications, AI agents, and workflow automation capabilities
  • Help customers understand how AI-enabled workflows can integrate into existing utility planning, engineering, and operational processes to drive increased productivity, enhanced decision making with highly automated capabilities
  • Provide structured feedback from customers to influence product strategy, UX, feature prioritization, implementation approaches, and long-term platform direction

Assist with creation of customer-facing artifacts including workflow diagrams, use cases, requirements documents, product demos, and executive-ready narratives.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field
  • 5+ years of product management experience, including experience delivering enterprise software products from concept through production deployment
  • Experience working with Generative AI technologies, LLM-based applications, AI agentic systems, retrieval-augmented generation
  • Strong ability to translate complex customer problems into clear product requirements, user experiences, acceptance criteria, and product roadmaps
  • Experience working directly with engineering, AI/ML, data science, or platform teams in agile product development environments
  • Customer-facing experience, including discovery workshops, technical presentations, product demonstrations and implementations
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving startup environment with evolving priorities and high ownership expectations
  • Collaborative mindset with ability to work cross-functionally across Product, Engineering, Sales, and leadership teams.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in electric utilities, energy, engineering software, critical infrastructure
  • Familiarity with utility workflows such as transmission planning, distribution planning, interconnection studies, capacity expansion, flexibility planning, grid operations
  • Understanding of modern AI architectures and product patterns, including LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation, agent orchestration, MCP-based integrations, evaluation, monitoring, and governance
  • Experience launching and growing enterprise SaaS products in regulated or technically complex environments
  • Familiarity with Agile product development environments and tools such as Jira.
